- Gastrointestinal: Fire in the stomach leading to excessive hunger or oral ulcers.
- Musculoskeletal: Pain and joint stiffness associated with heat.
- Endocrine: Hyperglycemia and early stages of diabetes mellitus.
- Pulmonary: Pneumonia or other heat-related respiratory conditions.
- Systemic: Heatstroke, dehydration and systemic inflammation.
